Product Engineering:  Lead Engineer 2A - Automotive

Location:  Warren, Michigan

Job Type:  Contract, Long-term duration

Kelly Services is in need of a degreed Engineer with Automotive embedded control module and serial data experience for a long-term contract job in Warren, Michigan with one of our Clients.

Duties:

Must have experience in and ability to do all job duties listed below.

- Develop written test procedures from software requirements documents

- Execute test procedures and document issues using ESIMS

- Design, develop and maintain test benches.  Includes mechanizations, panel designs, SW interfacing tools, etc.

- Develop and evaluate new test tools and techniques to improve efficiencies

- Lead root cause activities for any field related SW and calibration issues

- Be the primary contact for SW issues found during vehicle testing.  Responsible for recreating issues on test bench

- Prioritize work load with SW DRE's and Controls Mgrs to ensure timely deliveries to end-users

Experience/Education Requirements:

- Automotive embedded control module and serial data experience.  Demonstrated experience w/ applicable CAN tools (NeoVi, CANalyzer, Canoe, etc.) 

- 5+ years automotive experience and 7+ years verifiable work experience required (work experience verified through employment verification or provided documentation)

- BS in Engineering Required
